I had some flowers delivered to the funeral parlour, as I couldn't attend the service I wanted to know that they had... been received and that they looked nice, a member of staff called Liz was extremely helpful she even sent me photos of the flowers so I could see for myself through my email details.Thank you Liz for the way you put me at ease on this very sad occasion.read more

I would like to recommend Garner’s Funeral Service Ltd of 53 The Broadway Tolworth - and particularly David Oatham, the... General Manager.My Mother was in a nearby Nursing Home – and they asked me to decide in advance which undertaker I wanted to use.The Nursing Home Matron recommended David Oatham of Garner’s Funeral Service LtdBut I decided to visit about 6 other Funeral Undertakers within the general area – which was not a pleasant experience.My father had died some years before in Portugal – and was in a hole in the wall in a Portuguese cemetery.My Mother’s wishes were for her to be cremated in the UK and to be taken to Portugal and put beside my Father. So I wanted a simple cremation – with the complication that I wanted to take my Mother’s ashes on a passenger aircraft with me from London to Portugal.The result of me going around and cold calling on each undertaker was that David Oatham, the General Manager of Garner’s, was the only one who knew exactly and calmly what to do, re certification and wax sealing of the urn ( and would not charge me for the sealing of the urn.)None of the other undertakers knew what to do.Some phoned around colleagues, without getting an answer. Some promised to phone me later with an answer, but never did.And Garner’s Funeral Service Ltd were the best quotation by far.And when the time came, David Oatham of Garner’s Funeral Service Ltd and Natalie Dobson, the arranger at their Kingston office, were superb in handling my mother's funeral.
